There is an auction that I go to every Friday night on 92. It is Chucks' Auction and if you want to check out what they have just click here http://www.chucksauction.com They do estates and clean out houses so you get a variety of items that are up for sale. They also have one day that they auction only antique items. These are the sales that bring out the big collectors with all the money.
Even though the economy is bad it does not affect the auction houses. You can always get a good deal if you have a good eye. I like the fact that I can get an almost new appliance for less then $100.00. My washer is on its way out the door so I am looking to get one for $25 or less. I keep going because I know that one of these nights I am going to luck out and get the highest bid.
I have to make a list of the items I want to bid on and not go over the price that I set for it. If I don't do this then I end up spending much more then I want and I am not happy with what I get.
You say if only you made more money you would be happy because then you would be able to save a little money. But you know this isn't true for the majority of the people. The more they make the more they spend. People who have not gotten into the habit of saving find it very hard to start at a later age.
You can ask anyone you want to, just take a look at the people who stopped smoking. Do they save the money that they used to spend on cigarettes? Of course not, and if they can't save that little amount how are they going to save a larger amount?
We really have to wake up and stop buying the things we "want". If we bought only the things that we needed we would be able to start saving some of our money. The problem is that our parents spoiled us and gave us everything we wanted to compensate for their absence in our lives. They worked long hard hours and were too tired to play with us so they bought us things to occupy our time. So we have become accustomed to getting everything we want.
It is time to make a change if you want be satisified with your life. I promise you it won't kill you and you will have more satisfaction and more fun in your life with less "things"

This is a very informative site about fibromyalgia which is apparently affecting a lot of people. You only have to listen to the ads and you hear about it on a daily basis. It seems to have the same affect that arthritis does, but it affects the nerves instead of the bones. The pain is what sufferers have in common and it can make one incapable of moving because of the pain that comes with it. There has been a wide study on what causes the flare ups and of course they are not sure.

The 13-year-old parakeet has become a local celebrity after its owner, M. Muniyappan, claimed Mani accurately forecast the World Cup's four quarterfinal games and Spain's semifinal victory over Germany. "He's a special bird," Muniyappan said. Mani joins Paul the octopus, who has correctly predicted the winner of every World Cup match played by Germany, as overnight stars as interest in soccer's biggest tournament peaks and gamblers look for any edge to pick winners.

I absolutely love using the internet with my children. There is just so much knowledge they can get this way. It is very important of course that I am there right next to them though. The internet can be an issue for children if not supervised, however I feel it is terrific as long as I am right there with them. One of my favorite things to do when using our hughes net internet with my children is to play games at Nick Jr, PBS kids and the Disney website. All three of these places have wonderful online games for children. My youngest son and I play games on our hughes internet together all the time. He is four years old and learns so much this way. My older boys still enjoy playing games on them too. Sure, they use some other websites now as well, but I know that these three websites are safe which is incredibly important to me. When using the internet with my children I always make sure that whatever they are doing on the Internet is done safely. I make sure they never give their real names or any contact information. In fact, they are never allowed to fill out any forms or even give an email address without permission. My children are four, ten and thirteen. The internet is a wonderful place to learn, it just needs to be used with safety in mind.
